Many customers are called by name at this local favorite. The breakfast menu offers Southern favorites like Tennessee ham with gravy, eggs, biscuits and choice of grits or hash browns. Lunch offerings include hamburgers, catfish, or oysters on a bun. More substantial meal entrees include chicken and fried quail with gravy. If you are hungry, try the seafood platter, a fried assortment of scallops, shrimp, oysters, stuffed shrimp and frog legs. Rips in the upholstery testify these seats have seen a lot of wear, but the place is clean, the food is good and the waitresses are chatty.
