Big Humphrey's goes back to founder Joe Vitale, a huge professional wrestler of the 1940s who opened the restaurant in 1948. Jasper Vitale, the son of the professional wrestler, continues his father's tradition of serving serious Italian cuisine using his grandmother's family recipes borne out of Sicily. The walls inside tout pictures of erstwhile professional wrestlers and posters billing their upcoming fights. Try to ignore the other temptations and stick to the Italian food. The menu is supplemented with good American and Tex-Mex favorites.
