Located in Woodinville, Chateau Ste. Michelle is 40 minutes from downtown Seattle, the state's oldest winery continues to produce award-winning wines that appear on the wine lists of many top restaurants. The 87-acre winery grows its own grapes and uses only French oak barrels. Forty-minute tours leave on the hour and include a wine tasting. After that, you can picnic on the beautiful grounds. The property also features an amphitheater, which hosts top performers and cultural events. Also visit the gift shop. You can also take a wine appreciation class at the winery.
