It takes about 10 minutes to walk up King Street to this historic church, built of gray stone starting in 1760. A huge stained glass window, replaced after Hurricane Hugo tore through the island in 1989, dominates the church. Most of the interior was crafted of local mahogany wood in the late 1860s. While the front doors of this Gothic style church are closed to keep out street people, visitors are welcome to enter through a side door for a self-guided tour. Visitors are always welcome at Sunday services. There is no admission charge.
