Located in the backpacker area, Coriander is very popular with the expat English teacher crowd and tourists, as well as locals. This small 2-floor establishment seats about 50 and is usually packed during peak dinner hours from 6-8pm. The menu is basic and affordable with popular items like pad thai - stir fried noodles, vegetables, with shrimp and a peanut sauce or you can choose from a variety of curry dishes. To top it off you can order sticky rice with condensed milk and mango or wash it down with a refreshing Thai iced tea with milk. Getting a table here is sometimes difficult, but the turnover is frequent. - Kevin Minh
