Once an opium refinery (hence the name) of the colonial times when Vietnam was Indochina, this French bistro has a simple, airy atmosphere from the front outdoor terrace, the round tables, and the black-and-white tiled floor, to the quiet jazz music in the background that makes you feel as if you were in Paris once upon a time. The menu has a wide selection of light café fare such as baguette sandwiches, to heartier menu items like the crab cakes. Patrons can also enjoy dessert—try the hot chocolate mousse which is sure to add to your overall pleasant experience.
