One legacy of French colonial rule in Indochina has been an appreciation of the art of baking bread and pastries. This handy patisserie is an example of the quality to be found in Ho Chi Minh City. It is located between Dong Khoi and Nguyen Hue Streets, at the heart of the area most frequented by visitors. You will find croissants, pain au chocolat and plenty of other things to tempt you. If you cannot decide on a cake they will make small sample cakes of different varieties to help you choose. Lavishly decorated birthday cakes are a specialty and can be ordered in advance.
