Bruma Lake is the end result of the successful conversion of an old sewerage catchment area into a lakeside flea market, shopping malls and commercial parks. Designed to resemble a fisherman's village, the area offers a string of restaurants and shopping venues well patronised by bargain hunters and window shoppers alike. While the flea market has a host of stalls selling generic goods, there are also fine examples of African carvings, steel and metal work, as well as some great fast food of various nationalities on offer in the complex.
