Visit the Berg and Brook Cellar, and you'll be welcomed by not only one or two, but five identical gables. Established in 1906, this historic cellar was built on a farm originally granted to Huguenot Minister Pierre Simond in 1688. The farm was restored in 1993 and given the name Berg and Brook cellar. The estate lies on the northern slopes of the Simonsberg mountains, where a picturesque brook meanders through the countyside. This is prime wine-growing land, and most of its grower-members are situated within a ten kilometre radius of the cellar.
