Since 1692, it has developed a reputation for its fine wines and is a popular modern wine cellar in the Cape. Following the French practice of combining wine farm and country hotel, the Lanzerac homestead has been converted into a luxury hotel and a brand new state-of-the-art wine cellar. Situated at the entrance to the Jonkershoek Valley, the farm produces two labels, namely "Lanzerac" and "De Forellen." Enjoy these fine wines whilst lunching or dining at one of three superb restaurants on the estate.
