One of the Cape's most impressive success stories, Blues hit the trendy dining scene in the mid-eighties and hasn't looked back since. With a bustling atmosphere, it is telling that it's bound to be busier than any other restaurant in the Cape on any given night of the week. Great for cocktails before heading out to enjoy one of those languid summer evenings. Overlooking Camps Bay beach, it is decked in lots of white, offset by sea colours. It's large, bustling and yet still as elegant as the day it opened. The Cape's original "Cal-Med" restaurant offers an extremely varied menu: lots of seafood, steaks, pasta, pizza and salads with its Californian-Mediterranean flavour. There is a user-friendly wine list, which offers all the local favourites plus much more. It is open daily at 12pm.
