Great location!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manchebo Beach Resort. The location was picture-perfect right on the beach, the room was very clean, the staff were friendly and made us feel comfortable, and the quality of food at the restaurants were very good. On the day before we were supposed to leave, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we extended our stay - The front desk went out of their way to assist us with changing our reservations. We will definitely be back!

Only two drawbacks to our trip to Aruba. Not long enough, Although the bed was clean and roomy, it was too soft my my back. My wife had no issue with it however. The beach was as good as it gets. We looked around the island and think the beach at Manchebo is perhaps the best hotel beach. We did the all-inclusive meal program and would probably not repeat it. Not that the food at the resort wasn't good, but there are many other places we would like to try out. This facility is very well staffed. The workers have been there for many years and seem happy to be there. They were very respectful. I estimate the guests were equally mixed with Americans and Europeans. Again the rooms are clean, but not lavish. We contrast this with the RIU Palace which is a bizarre place. The lobby reeked of cigarette smoke. When we stopped there from the airport, no bellman received the visitors. They had to drag the bags up stairs and through a rotating door. We were well received at Manchebo and check in was a breeze. Rent a Car from Hector at Optima (soon to be Payless) Car rental. They are close by at La Cabana. We got a Toyota Yaris for 35/day. It was a big help getting around.

XXX was great! I got put at the Machebo by Amsterdam Manor because they overbooked (horrible and wouldn?t recommend them). XXX was very understanding and accommodating of the situation. Our room was great we could literally walk out the door, onto a small patch of grass and be on the beach. The bed was comfortable and the room was a standard hotel room, it was clean and the air conditioner worked great. Everyone that worked there was more than willing to help with anything we needed whether it was a taxi or how to call America from my cell phone. The beach was gorgeous with more than enough huts along it. Dunkin Donuts was within walking distance which is always a plus! I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Loved the staff. Hotel was very nice for 3 stars., lovely well-maintainted grounds. Beach is lovely -- Great place for folks who like to sun and swim. You'll need to "cab" to most everything so it's probably cheaper to rent a car for at least 3 or 4 days. We did not do the "all-inclusive" but ate there 3 times (Garden Terrace, French Steak House, and Pega Pega bar). Food was good but not great. Don't rent from Super Car -- Our vehicle was in poor condition (canvas top did not stay latched, bald tire went flat, not reimbursed for paid to have it changed). Super Car staff was totally indifferent, could not have cared less. Would return to Manchebo Beach Resort. Climate is wonderful.

The staff at Manchebo was very helpful and friendly. The beach was absolutely beautiful and was the best around. Great for walking. The pool at the resort was small, but it was never crowded. There are several restaurants and a casino within walking distance and public transportation was close by and inexpensive. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurants were top notch. They had a steak called the "carascao," which was one of the planet's better steaks. I've been around, so I would know. The only bit of advise I have for other travelers is to pay for the all-inclusive. It will save you a ton on meals. The beach is awesome, because if you stay at a bigger name hotel, you will have no beach. The physical location of the hotel is in the middle of anything you would want to do. The only knock on the room is that the bed was a touch firm. Nothing to cry about though. All in all, The Manchebo is a hotel I would recommend to anyone who want's to go to Aruba.
