I would stay again
The hotel was nice. The beach was ok.I preferred the public beach which is on the otherside of hotel. It's much nicer and just a short walk away.Food needs improvement and is really expensive as is most of Barbados. We were annoyed by the selection of music at the pool, old elevator music. Hotel offers Karaoke at pool bar from 6-8pm. Beware of the host. His selection of music and voice will send you back to your room.
I would stay again
We stayed from the 5th to the 12 of July at the Hotel we had a great time.Everybody was friendly and the Rooms and facilities were great. The only thing we didnt like was the coffee they served. It was too watery. But other then that i would stay the anytime again.
Fantastic
The hotel is OK. My compaint is that a friend and I signed up for The Best of Barbados Tour which the hotel booked for us. when we got back to Maryland the tour company charged our credit cards 4 different times and we both had to call our credit card companies to get these fraudulant charges removed. so be warned, don't do this tour, or pay with cash...
Nice hotel, very new (completely rebuilt 2005). Also very nice location. But wants to be both a business center and a resort - it's not really a resort. Lacks after-hours facilities of a resort - no pool table, no game room, little to do after dark. Very clean, polite staff, nice gym, decent food, nice rooms however. As one cabbie said, it may as well be in Miami.
I READ THE OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE WE BOOKED, HOWEVER WHEN WE ARRIVED THE ROOMS WERE NOT READY, THE SERVICE ON THE WHOLE WAS VERY POOR BUT STILL EXPENSIVE. WE WILL NOT RETURN.
The hotel was wonderful and the trip would not have been as nice had we stayed elsewhere. I have traveled a lot and have NEVER met such nice people, every employee was great and they all had a smile on their face no matter what your request was.
