Pictures are better than actual hotel is
I guess as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Especially after seeing what Atlantis is like. We stayed the first night and then switched to Atlantis rooms. The hotel was too much like what we could stay in at home.

The Comfort Suites was one of the worst experiences we ever had at a hotel. The hotel is extremely run down?this resulted in us staying in three different rooms during our stay. The first room we had was extremely hot when we entered. The reason was that the sliding glass door was ajar and could not be closed since it was broken and off the track. This was apparently known since there was a piece of wood in the track to keep it from being open from the outside since we were on the ground level. The front desk was extremely helpful and immediately changed our room. The next room lasted one night and then we needed to change since that portion of the hotel had no water for hours and they could not estimate when it would be repaired. We were again assisted by the helpful front desk and moved to the part of the hotel which still had water. On the day we were leaving, all electricity in the hotel was being turned off for maintenance for the entire afternoon?I am glad we were not there for that experience. In addition, we got sodas from the soda machine and to our surprise all the bottles were expired for 4 months or longer. And finally, just to close out a truly disheartening experience, when we were packing to leave we discovered a roach on the floor in our room. There was definitely ?No Comfort in these Suites?.

Four nights at the Comfort Inn Nassau were enough to turn me off this hotel forever. I visit Nassau on business four to six times a year and have stayed in many (most?) hotels there, but this one takes the cake for the poorest customer service and most miserable visit. I won't go into all the details but the following were the low points:- No reservations to be found when we arrived for the 4 rooms we had booked ;- Pool was empty without warning, although we had reserved less than a week before (no big deal for us as business travelers, but some guests were not happy);- Breakfast is served by the (empty) pool, hundreds of outdoor feet and dozens of outdoor stairs from the main building. In torrential rains (predictable at this time of year, however no umbrellas are supplied) one is soaked to the skin in seconds, and must wade through inches of standing water on slippery tile. My colleague went down hard, losing laptop, cell phone and getting soaked to the skin in four inches of standing water.- Room air conditioning sounds like a jet plane taking off;- Strong unidentifyable odor in the rooms;- Two days we had no water in the rooms (during the day only, fortunately)- No hot water in the shower one morning - One day out of four my room was not made up;- Total indifference verging on rudeness from the front desk staff.Apparently this hotel?s only redeeming factor is that it is next door to Atlantis but significantly cheaper. My advice would be to wait for Atlantis to have one of their regular room sales and stay there. The Comfort Suites should be demolished.

We chose this hotel because of the off season rates. It was god to be able to use the Atlantis facilities beause the hotel pool was dirty and then closed down for remodeling during our stay. The lock on our door was broken and was not repaired during our stay despite reporting it twice. It was possible to jimmy it closed. The air conditioner leaked a pool of water the first night, it may have been repaired because it only happened once. We had a good time at the Atlantis water park and the continental breakfast was acceptable at the hotel.

4 of us arrived in Bahamas Friday AM via cruise ship and rather than paying * pp for a glance at the Atlantis mega resort or *pp for a day pass, we paid total * (that;s only *pp) for a very nice clean dbl queen suite at the Comfort Inn Paradise and received full privileges to the Atlantis - just across the road. Since it was off-season, our room was ready when we got there at 11AM! So nice to be able to meet up there later that night to clean up and change before going back to ship! The floor was tile and it had a seperate sink from bathroom - very roomy with couch, too. This would definately be the place to stay for extended days in Bahamas as the whole area is quite pricey but neat place to play!
Great Stay
We enjoyed everything!! Clean, friendly service. It is what we needed and the view was perfect!!
