Ok, ok, ok. We didn't stay here. We were in need of a pee break before driving over the Rockies, and it was late at night in a microscopic Alberta town....
Perfect!
I stayed here for one night Mid November 2008. These new Ramada's are popping up all over the province and I think they are great. This one is ...
Great Hotel - Very Pleased!
This is a very new hotel (opened in Dec. 07) and is very nice. We stayed in a suite, which was a good size for our family of 3, with TVs in both the living area and the bedroom. The entire hotel is non-smoking, which keeps it looking brand new and clean. It is also a remarkably quiet hotel - you couldn't hear any sounds from adjacent rooms, in the hallway, or from the fairly busy road that runs past the hotel. Great pool with a huge water slide that was enjoyed by both kids and adults at the pool. All of the staff we encountered - from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast attendant - were very friendly, personable, and nice. Breakfast was included, and it had a wide variety of choices including the very popular make-your-own Belgian waffle station. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Waterton National Park, making it an easy drive to visit this great park. There is a grocery store nearby, as well as two restaurants (one fast-food, one sit-down). The only complaint - and it's a small one - is that the business center charged 10/hour for internet use (except for access to the AirCanada website, which was free). It would have been nice to be able to check email or area information, but not worth 10/hour.
