Good, Clean, but nothing special

(Rating: 4) by Eric Wood on April 20, 2009

While the staff were nice and the rooms clean, I felt that the facility wasn't otherwise special and the location is a little far from the Vancouver Night life. I enjoyed the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre better. (http://www.travelmuse.com/properties/ca/bc/v6z2r9/sheraton-vancouver-wall-centre)

great location

 by  anonymous  on  2008-07-19

this is a great hotel, located across the street from a large mall with over two hundred shops. and a food court. you wont need your car here. the staff is also great and helpful in every way. we checked in early and asked to check out later because of our return flight. this was not a problem, being the hotel was booked for saturday guest. we did not dine at the hotel however we did receive very good advise as to the local restaurants. overall we had a great time. and would visit again. this is first class in all respects. and well worth a visit.

great location

While we only stayed one night, after cruise and before traveling home, we were very happy with this hotel. The staff truly made you feel welcome. The room was great, bed so comfortable. Used the computers to print out boarding passes, no charge. The pool looked really nice although didn't have a chance to use it. We opted to go out to dinner rather than use the restaurant, so can't review it. While in Vancouver we hopped aboard the Vancover Trolly a hop off and on narrarated tour! It was a great way to explore Vancouver, a really clean and lovely city. Also, bought the Vistor's booklet and it saved us money on the trolley, the aquarium, and the lookout. A good deal.

Excellent hotel!

Everything about this hotel was excellent. We will be back!!

great location

 by  anonymous  on  2007-03-02

We ate at the in-hotel restaurant ""Diva at the Met"" and the food was, although pricey, FANTASTIC. We got an upgrade on the room, and the executive suite was nice, though a little small. Only complaint? The parking is so tight, spaces small, and difficult to get in and out of. I suggest Valet. The service from the hotel staff was excellent, they went out of their way to help."

Great place to stay, in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Everything is extremely close and the staff is great.

My husband and I were very pleased with the service we received. Driving directions were very easy to follow, the hotel is very centrally located, just blocks from Robson & Granville Sts, rooms immaculate and well sized.
