Granville island

We stayed two nights at the hotel and had a fabulous time exploring Granville Island. This is the only hotel located on the island. So much to see and do. There are great shops and galleries The Public Market rivals Pike Place. The three course dinner at ""The Cat's Meow"" was great. The staff here was very helpful and friendly and our standard room clean and comfortable. I plan to go back soon with a group of gal pals!

Great Hotel

 by  anonymous  on  2006-12-02

booked travel package, received miniscule and outdated room in rear overlooking dumpster. Very shabby, staff worse. Bar and restaurant closed for outside parties for entire stay--room service tookhours, gave up and braved 30 degree cold to walk to eat. Travelers beware!

My Daughter, Grandaughter and I (three women) stayed two nights this week. We loved the location. It was close to buses and taxis came in a flash. The hotel was quiet and the views stupendous. We would come back.

BEST Vancouver experience! The hotel is minutes to everything, without being surrounded by high rise hotels. Public Market steps from the hotel, great bars, shops and restuarants. We were upgraded to a suite with amazing water and city views. We did not want to leave. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel is very small and has a boutique feeling. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Can't wait to go back!!!

Hotel was clean and nice. Staff was terrific ? very friendly and helpful. The Hotel?s restaurant was right on the water with a great patio. Also, from the hotel it was easy to get to downtown Vancouver. However, I really enjoyed walking around Granville Island and seeing all the unique shops and artists.
