One of the other reviewers is right--you can do a lot worse than this hotel. For example, you could sleep in a tee shirt and shorts next to Niagara Falls in...

You could do a lot worse than this hotel; it's a good value. The location is great: right by Clifton Hill (but not too close) and within walking distance...

Caution

Excellent Location. BUT Staff are not trained well in customer service. I asked for change for the snack machine ,walked all the way to the machine "Out Of Order" . They didnt even know it wasnt working! Hair stuck in the dryer! Mold in coffee maker! The Queen Suite was nice and my location was very quiet. Booked this room because they listed a buisness center. Checked in and they had NO BUISNESS CENTER! Managment was rude and said their is no listing for it! Charged me for local calls but they had listed FREE LOCAL CALLS! Only 4 channels on the TV. No movie channels. Boring! The security in the hotel was a joke. The front desk agent late at night did not ask for my ID when I asked for my room number and for my room key! She asked "what room number are you in?" I told her and she gave me a key! Doors are wide open late at night with signs say these are closed after hours for your saftey!?

The computer kiosk was not working and I asked for a refund and the Manager was rude and said no I will not refund your money since I told you it wasnt working! Vending machines were broken. Desk clerk had no idea and sent me to it on the other side of the hotel and their were no others! Parking lot gate was a joke anyone can get in by just pulling it up. Dryer had hair in it! Coffee pot had mold in it. Matress had a huge dip in it. Old bed. Great location not far from the tourist spots. Just walk to them!

If you want too sleap this ain't the place

We wanted to be away from the hubbub of Niagara Falls & this hotel was a good location! Free parking was a plus. Nice, friendly staff. They gave us a discount coupon for breakfast right across the street & this was good cause the continental breakfast they offered wasn't very exciting. The jacuzzi is an actual above-ground hot tub & tended to get crowded at times, even though it could hold 8 people. This is an older hotel, so if you are looking for glitz & glamor - this one won't have it! However, rooms were more than adequate sized and were comfortable. Hi-speed internet service was great to have w/no problems. We found everything we needed for food & entertainment within a 2 block radius, other than the Falls themselves, which were about 6 blocks away, down a steep hill. Seniors & handicapped be forewarned! We are both disabled, but we had 3 wheeled scooters to ride on, which were heaven-sent, as walking to the Falls is a real trek!

The staff was so kind to us when we arrived at the hotel. The continental breakfast was delicious. The hot tub could have been hotter but other than that everything was great

We had 3 great rooms with in-room jacuzzis. They were spotless and big! We enjoyed having a refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer and couch in the room, too. We also enjoy breakfast across the street at the restaurant that the Day's Inn gave us coupons for.

falls trip

Looked at many hotels on internet and decided on this one. It is an economy appointed hotel at best. I can live with just an ok hotel for a 1 night stay for 100. But it was very, very noisy all night with youth hockey teams. Probably as much parents fault but it was VERY LOUD all the time. Also if you have never been to the falls area - it is way over priced. 2 eggs and pancakes 11, 3.25 for Coke at restaruant.
