a gem hidden off the beaten path
just a short walk from the wax museums and attractions lies a very clean comfortable hotel called Sterling Inn and Spa. The quiet, spacious rooms exceded our expectations. The bathroom is huge with a large mutli jet shower that will wash away all your stresses...wow!My wife and I love to walk, so the 10 min walk to the falls was nothing to complain about. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we come to Niagara.
a gem hidden off the beaten path
Found the promo deal others had described & contacted hotel directly. W/AAA disc.room was only the 1st 2 nights and the 3rd. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but definately has a warm cozy appeal. Lobby had tile floors, water fountains & a beautiful staircase leading to 2nd floor. We'd requested a traditional room w/ jacuzzi, but none were available so they upgraded us to a deluxe (wow). Room was breathtakingly large & well appointed. Had full sized sitting area w/leather sofa, 2 oversized chairs, wet bar, mini fridge, electric fireplace & flat screen tv. The king sized bed was in the back of the room,& a 2 person jacuzzi tub sat in the center of the (enormous) bathroom area that also had enclosed shower w/ 4 heads & separate enclosed commode. Only thing missing was a full length mirror, but we could see our reflection in the shower glass so it was ok.Beds were comfy (although tall), pillows just right, towels large & fluffy. Were scheduled for 2 nts but hubby became ill so we stayed a 3rd. Staff was immensely helpful, asked several times if they could be of help/offered to purchase meds & bring in food for him. Unfortunately 1st room (115)had been requested for the next day so we moved upstairs to a traditional room.Room 217 not as spectacular as 1st but spacious w/huge bathroom w/steam shower-best shower I've ever had!( & had the mirror) & balcony. Perfect Location, 5-10 min walk to falls, close to dining/shopping & Clifton Hill fun district. We didn't eat at Ag but had drinks in gorgeous dining room/bar. Bartender very friendly. Breakfast in bed was nice, albeit small. Fitness room small and clean, spa was only open for appts. Beware,Canada is expensive! Great romantic getaway for value.
My husband and I stayed at the Sterling Inn and Spa in Niagara Falls for our anniversary. This hotel is a gem in the middle of a tourist attraction. The decor and luxury of the hotel surpassed my expecations, hotel staff was very helpful and attentive. The bed was very very comfortable and other room ammenities were awesome! The spa was perfect, the restaurant was perfect, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway!
