Since 1870, the Clarendon Hotel has been an integral part of Old Quebec. The hotel is located across from the tended grounds of City Hall in a neighborhood crisscrossed with cobblestone streets lined with ornamental gardens. The Provincial Premier stays in the Price Building when the National Assembly is in session. And many members of the National Assembly and government ministers have been guests at the Clarendon Hotel, making the hotel a kind of miniature Parliament Building.
