Gastronomy, comfort and nice view
We booked a 3 days/2 nights gastronomic package - including an excutive/deluxe king room in the newer wing, 2 hot exhaustive buffet breakfasts and 2 dinner 5 course meals in delighful restaurants. .We had a wonderful view of the St Lauwence river and the Plains of Abraham, a large flat high definition TV on the wall, light coloured maple furniture and zen decor, a luxurious bathroom with a huge shower stall (no bathtub however)The hotel is 20 minutes walk from Dufferin Terrace and old restored 'vieux Quebec' (in lower part)There are many wonderful restaurants next door, the Citadel is accross the street, the Parlement buidings and grounds (including the new 'Fountain of Tournay' inaugurated for the 400th anniversary of Quebec) are a mere 5 minutes walk .Great Value, excellent personalized service and good location.
Gastronomy, comfort and nice view
The ""small but charming"" room was pleasant and in fine condition. The location is excellent for exploring the old city but our room faced construction and the dumpsters which were loudly emptied early in the morning. When I mentioned this at checkout, I was told I should have mentioned this the day before (the dump truck occured the morning of checkout).
Room described as ""small but charming"". The room was small but there was nothing to make it charming. The bedding was very uncomfortable. It was very clean and the service was adequate. A great location to see all of the old city.
