Health Hazard!

 by  anonymous  on  2007-07-29

Upon arriving we were treated very poorly by the woman at the front desk. When we entered the suite, it smelled terrible and the windows were filthy. We went to make coffee and found the coffee pot to be very dirty. When we phoned down to the front desk we were told that she didn't know where the extra coffee pots were and she wasn't about to go look for them but if we brought the one we had down, maybe she would get someone to clean it. After that when actually making coffee went to put filter in and found moldy coffee grounds still in coffeemaker. Went out for a bit and came back to find mouse droppings on our bed, brought down to the front desk to complain, at which point we were told they were aware of the problem (extreme health risk). If they knew, why were we put in the room? Went to shower and the drain was not only plugged but stuff was coming back up, in addition to the long black hairs all over the bathroom (neither of us have long black hair). Were switched rooms for the second night and was just as horrible. Room was half the size, TV didnt work, bathroom was just as filthy and the drain didnt work in that one either. All the while being treated absolutely terrible by the front desk woman. Then we were told by management we were expected to pay full price for both nights! After telling them that it wouldn't matter as we'd be writing a formal complaint to head office and could be reimbursed later, it was only then we were offered a free night, upon persisting got both nights free and still filed formal complaint with head office. DONT STAY THERE!
