HOTEL - Having opened in 1897 at a privileged location in the centre of Oerlikon, the Hotel Sternen Oerlikon soon became famous as a popular venue for visitors to the Exhibition Centre *Messe Schweiz* and the Hallenstadion. Since that time, many international companies have settled in Zurich North, taking advantage of the excellent traffic connections to the city of Zurich and Zurich Airport. LOCATION - In the heart of Oerlikon, just a five minute walk from the Exhibition Centre *Messe Schweiz*, the Hallenstadion and the Zurich Oerlikon railway station. Only five minutes by train to the main Zurich railway station and to the Zurich Klotel airport. The *Sternen Oerlikon* tram station is right next to the hotel (tram numbers 10, 11 and 14). HOTEL ROOMS - All rooms are equipped with shower or bath and toilet, hairdryer, cable TV, radio, minibar and direct dial telephone with an analogue modem connection. Smoking and Non-Smoking rooms. Some of the spacious *Standard rooms* are located away from the street. The smaller *City rooms* are with city view. BREAKFAST - The breakfast room with an inviting breakfast buffet and an international news paper selection is open daily from 6 a. to 10 a. Coffee and croissants for guests in a hurry are being served at the bar next to the front desk. RESTAURANT STERNEN OERLIKON - The restaurant Sternen Oerlikon is located in the same building as the hotel and is managed as an independent company. Peter Waser, Bruno Pompili and team offer daily a nice selection of Italian dishes for lunch and dinner.
