Family visit and vacation
Went to Shanghai to visit my wifes family. I have stayed in this area before and my 5th visit to Shanghai. The location is great. A supermarket and shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Bus stops across the street and the hotel will help with a taxi. The subway is also nearby. The park is within walking distance, maybe 5 minutes. People go here to exercise in the morning and dance in the evenings. The staff speaks english. when they could not understand what I was trying to ask they got someone else to help. I liked the fact that they kept trying to help and did not try to brush me off. I used the laundry service as I was there for sometime and had no complaints. Everyone at the hotel from the desk clerks, the doorman, and the cleaning crew were very nice and helpful. Bed was a little hard but my back was happy for it.
