Orquideas Inn Hotel And Resort, Alajuela, Costa Rica

Orquideas Inn Hotel and Resort, a popular destination for 15 years in Costa Rica, is now under new ownership. The new owners, who purchased and completely renovated the beautiful popular beach resort Hotel Sugar Beach in Guanacaste, have extensively remodeled and expanded the amenities of the Orquideas Inn. All of the 19 spacious rooms, 6 unique suites and the 2 bedroom Geodesic Dome have been remodeled and air conditioned and many rooms now have satellite TV. Three large new suites have been added with private balconies and panoramic views of the mountains and volcanoes. An intimate casual new restaurant filled with original local art is available where Executive Chef Jose Chavarria uses his creative talents to create national and international cuisine infused with his own special style. Happily the unique and fun Marilyn Monroe Bar has not changed and is still serving great tropical drinks and bocas including their famous buffalo wings.
