Established in 1891 as an original Berlin lodging house, in the heart of the city. Wall and ceiling paintings are in parts of the public areas. Two new side wings and a transverse building were attached so that a large lobby was developed. The big ceiling windows illuminate the hotel lobby in the day time as well as huge lusters in the evening.
