READ the Cancellation Policy carefully

Booked on travel website back in April, canceled at end of June. Assumed this would be enough time not to incur a cancellation fee. Just got credit card statement, and was billed by hotel on 7/19 for full amount. Went back and read cancellation policy: CANCEL BY 1AM 18JUL07 LOCAL PROPERTY TIME TO AVOID PENALTIES Room Rate says: STANDARD ROOM/DOUBLE BED/26 SQM/WIFI CITY VIEW 15 PERCENT OFF - NO REFUND - NO CANCELLATION
