Sofitel at El Gizerah
The hotel is located on the Nile River and has a great view of the bustling city. You can see the pyramids from our 15th floor room. The hotel is circular and has great views from every room. It's very easy to get a taxi since they are just outside the security gate. The hotel has various restaurants, a currency exchange, a spa and a casino. If you go to trhe casino, make sure you take your passport with you for entry. Local shopping district and some bazaars are within walking distance once you cross the bridge. Staff is very helpful, but there is no secure place to store your luggage if you are checking out early for a late flight. I would stay here again on my next trip to Cairo.
