clean but noisy
The hotel is on a corner of a very busy commercial street and not the best neighborhood - not scary but poor and not scenic. The room overlooked a courtyard that was slum-like with laundry hanging out. The one other negative was that the hallways and rooms all had tile flooring so that it was very noisy in the corridors as well as adjoining rooms. The positive aspects - the hotel staff spoke English, were very friendly and helpful, our room and bathroom were very clean, it was a two block walk to the Metro and a 15 minute walk to The Ramblas.
