Outstanding!
We spent three wonderful nights here. The "castle" experience was just as we hoped! Rooms were lovely, service was excellent, food was outstanding. If you let the desk know, special meals can be prepared for dinner..and my request for scones with breakfast (free) was delivered promptly to our room. The town of Thornbury hasn't much to offer, but the Cotswolds and Bath are close by. We arranged for guides to pick us up each day and had some excellent touring. Returning to the castle, cream tea in the gardens was lovely! A nearby spa provides services at the castle if desired, We loved our time at Thornbury Castle and will return!
