EXCELLENT FOR THE MONEY

 by  anonymous  on  2008-02-18

You really can't beat this hotel for the money. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very professional and accomodating. Our reservations were wrong and they corrected it as soon as posible. They provided washcloths as a standard. The tube station is only a short walk. Location was geat in terms of pubs and a grocery store. I would definitely stay there again. As with any neighborhood, you have to take precautions but I felt very safe.

EXCELLENT FOR THE MONEY

 by  anonymous  on  2007-07-02

We were promised a room w/3 beds. Upon arrival, we were told there no such rooms in the hotel. We finally got a room with 2 beds. However, they told us that we would have to move to another room (of the same type) in 2 days. When it came time for the move, they changed the time so that it conflicted with our touring. We were also told misinformation about the underground and location of attractions several times. Also, the hotel is in a horrible part of London. Close to the underground, but no food worth eating anywhere around & an unsafe neighborhood at night.

London escape

 by  anonymous  on  2007-04-02

Great location and good price (for London). The breakfast buffet was excellent as well as the health club available for hotel guests.

 by  anonymous  on  2006-12-02

This is a great hotel for the price and an excellent location for lauching into London's more popular areas. It is right on the train and bus lines and taxi fare to central London is around 15 pound sterling. The hotel is warm, friendly and inviting. Also, the neighborhood gives you a nice taste of local life. Great Curry spot down the street!

 by  anonymous  on  2006-11-02

The staff did a pretty good job of taking care of us. I personally felt safe, but I found out later that the neighborhood can be dangerous during the summer months.
