Amenities
The Marriott County Hall hotel is stylish, elegant and the amenities and first-class service are the envy of many hotels in London. Originally used as the seat of government, the Marriott has been restored yet has kept its beautiful architecture. Guests can enjoy a sumptuous dining experience in the County Hall restaurant or a lighter meal in the Rotunda Lounge, both overlooking the River, or spend a couple of hours enjoying the splendidly indulgent afternoon tea in the opulence of the Library with breathtaking views of Big Ben. Guests have complimentary access to the largest and most extensive gym and pool of any London hotel. All 200 bedrooms have been completely refurbished in 2007 giving this beautiful building an interior to match the stunning exterior. The bedrooms have all the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel including the Marriott bedding package which consists of 300 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, down mattress topper, down duvet and six pillows.

weekend getaway with my wife
The hotel is located under the "London Eye", but you have to walk a little long to reach to your room for this beatiful scene from the elevator. :), but keeps you fit and fresh. The breakfast is one of the best in Europe, if you think that we are turkish and loves breakfasts and brunches. The concierge service is excellent on your request, like booking for a dinner, shopping help etc. We are satisfied in our stay and recommend strongly
weekend getaway with my wife
We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the London County Hall Marriott. The location of the hotel cannot be beaten, not can the views of the Thames, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament and the Lonond Eye. We used Marriott rewards points for this stay. The rooms were significantly larger than the average London room, the bed was heavenly. The hotel staff were consistantly pleasant, professional and helpful, especially the concierge. We never ate in the hotel restaurants, but used the concierge lounge daily for breakfast and then evening drinks. I would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a central location to explore London from.
We arrived after a long flight from the states. We were told the room would be ready in an hour, and after settleing into the lounge with some coffee, they came and told us our room was ready. We arrived upstairs on the 6th floor with a karge room and a view of the Thames and Big Ben. Everytime we left or arrived we were greeted by a staff member. It was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone. The only negative was the price we paid for Internet access. It was 15 ponds for 24 hours and it should be included for the price you pay for the hotel.
My two daughters and I vacationed in London. This hotel was located right in the heart of everything! The staff were friendly and very helpful. I have already told friends they must stay here, and I intend to stay at this hotel when we return to London. The only negative was the buffet breakfast. It was a little expensive for the amount we ate.
great location. Great staff. Great food. Great room service. Great pool, fitness center and spa. This hotel had it all.
