Great Location and nice sized rooms

 by  anonymous  on  2007-09-15

You can't beat the location. Right across from Victoria station, many of the tourist attractions are close by (Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament). A lot of dining options. The hotel room was a nice size from the normal London hotel rooms. The room and hotel were both very clean and the cleaning staff was very nice. My only complaint was that with lobby staff. They were not very helpful and they just watched as people tried to pull their luggage down 4 steps into the lobby. Most four star hotels, have door men to help you with your luggage, and to call you a cab. I did not see anyone helping with luggage or taxis, the 10 days that I was there.

Great Location and nice sized rooms

The location of the hotel was very convenient to all of the main attractions you go to London to see. I was very dissappointed in the lobby staff. There are 4 steps to drag your luggage up and down as you come in the lobby with no help from the staff. Also when you come in and out they do not acknowledge your presence in the lobby. The hair dryer did not work and they never came to fix or replace it during the three days after I reported it broken. I did enjoy my stay there. Hope the lobby staff improves for your stay.

Hotel seemed very nice, but there was hair in the tub, and no one available to clean it. Tub drain clogged, not fixed even after I complained about it. Manager dodged me when I wanted to meet her to discuss these problems. It was disgusting to have to clean a strangers pubic hair out of the tub at midnight when I wanted to take a bath, and I felt like the management just didn't care at all."
