The four star Danubius Grand Hotel Margitsziget, originally built in 1873 on Margaret Island, the island of parks in the centre of Budapest, reflects the turn-of-century atmosphere of a hundred years ago. Rate includes unlimited free use of the hotel's own spa and fitness facilities and VAT (20%). Local tax (3% of the accommodation cost) is extra to be paid on spot at departure. Buffet breakfast is excluded: EUR 14/person (not compulsory, can be pre-booked or requested on the spot).

Relaxation at Margaret Island
We spent a great time at Grand Hotel last week. The hotel located at the beautyful Margaret Island and connected to another Danubius Hotel (Termal ) wich has lots of different spa facilities. Around there was quiet so we could relax and enjoy the spa facilities. We tried different treatments and came back home as a totally new and refreshed person. The service is perfect, staff is very polite and helpfull. Breakfast was inculded in the price (wich was I think really correct) with great variety of healthy food. Our room was a normal size with a incredible view to the Danube. Because of the hotel location it?s easy to go both sides of the city to look all the interests. Budapest is wonderfull, we would definitely go back sometime in the future!
