It's in the city centre, so that's good. It doesn't have much character, so that's bad. But it's always busy, so it must be good.

Excellent location!
The Fitzwilliam was located right across the street from Stephens Green, and a couple minutes walk to Grafton Street and the city bus tour stops. Very convenient. The hotel is boutiquie-stylish with modern decor. However, I think the room we stayed in is a bit on the small size for what you pay for. But I guess the value is really on its location. We arrived at the hotel around 11 am, though no rooms were available for our check-in yet, the front-desk staff offered us a "day-room" to refresh up since she knew we flew in from the States that morning. Though the day-room was no more than a bathroom, it was a nice feature to have a place to freshen up after flying an overnight flight. We didn't eat at the restaurant in the hotel. There are SO many restaurants and pubs in the area, we decided to sample those instead.
Excellent location!
I would die to go to these hotel again the food and people were the best. I'm moving to Ireland
