Lovely Boutique Hotel - Great location - Would stay again!
Lovely boutique style Hotel in great location - walking distance to all main sites. Limited breakfast menu but still good (the Salmon was my favourite) , by day 4 I was a little bored with the choices. Note that when we first arrived there was confusion as to whether our breakfast was included even though it stated it was when we booked on this site. It was taken care of without hassle. Staff were lovely - quite a lot of french speaking staff and the waiters in the breakfast room in the mornings were super nice and very friendly. Note that we had read blogs about this hotel being noisy but we either got lucky or didn't hear anything, we stayed in room #209 and were also suprised to have a USA electrical outlet which was extremely handy. This isn't apparently typical in all rooms but handy all the same. Turndown service with chocolate on the pillow was a nice touch; great shower water pressure; comfy down comforter bedding, if your renting a car there is no parking - stay at a parking garage around the corner, the desk can help you with directions. 6 Euros overnight. Only suggestions would be for hotel management to make sure a little more attention was paid to cleaning. This hotel has a nightclub downstairs and when we left hotel each morning to start our day trips, the empty glasses and trash etc were evident outside the doors to the hotel entrance which distracts from the loveliness of this hotel. Also when we returned at night we had to pretty much push through the nightclub crowd outside the entrances to get to the stairs that led to our room. FYI: Drivers - Dawson street is one way! Overall though, I would stay here again.
