Awful!

 by  anonymous  on  2008-07-05

The reception staff was cordial. It was downhill after that. The "on site" parking is actually a garage about 2 blocks away. You end up having to lug your luggage the distance as there isn't even a spot to pull into to unload. The service at the on site pub was terrible. No one bothered to greet us or wait on us although we were one of only about 3-4 couples in the place. I had to clean the hair out of the bathtub before I could use it. That was of course after I had to climb into the tub to get the water to flow as the shower door no longer opened. There were no wash clothes. The hotel did not stock them I pulled the spare pillows from the closet only to discover that the cases were covered by a dried, mysterious, brown substance. No one seemed overly concerned about getting clean pillows or cases to us. The bed itself was like sleeping on a piece of worn foam rubber. The hotel is a big thumbs down in what had until that point been a beautiful vacation in Ireland.
