A one hour drive from the airport, it is situated on Sinquerim beach along the Sinquerim to Calangute beach stretch. Set on the bastion of the Old Portuguese Fort, the Fort Aguada overlooks the turquoise Arabian Sea. Most rooms of this beach resort offer a view of the Arabian sea and the gardens. The rooms offer a selection of views ranging from sea view to garden view to Pool view. The resort comprises of charming cottage like units spread across the enrire complex either stand alone or in clusters of 2, 4, 6 or 8. Some cottages are around the pool and restaurants while others offer privacy and solitude away from the same.

Monsoon Stay
It rained the first two days we were at the hotel. They provided rides in golf carts and umbrellas. The pool is great. The kid's activities are good. The staff is very friendly, especially after you've been there a few days, and they recognize you. The spa is terrific and a good value. The downsides are: - You have to take a courtesy car to the Ft. Aquada hotel down the road to use the fitness center or spa. - The food is very expensive. Expect to pay NY prices. That's the only real downside, because its excellent. - There's no beach. It's been washed away along with a good part of the cliff.
