The Icelandair Flughotel, one of Icelandair Hotels newest members, is just a few minutes from Keflavk International Airport and near the Blue Lagoon geothermal spring. Iceland's oldest lighthouse is nearby at Reykjanes, as is the historic settlement site of Krisuvik. Close to the hotel is a pedestrian street with a library, some shops, and a tourist information center.On the premises are a restaurant, bar, fitness spa with workout facilities, whirlpool, sauna, tanning booths, and massage services. The hotel can arrange excursions to whale-watching tours, horseback riding, and an 18-hole golf course. Other hotel amenities include laundry facilities and safes. All of the hotels 36 rooms have twin or double beds on four floors. Non-smoking rooms are also available. All rooms offer TVs with both domestic and foreign reception and pay-per-view movies. The three two-room suites have individual climate control.

Two star hotel
Two stars is right rating. White beddings were slightly stained. The room was damp and small but clean. However, the public area was fine. The continental style breakfast was good. The reception was kind and tried to be helpful. There are very few shuttles to the airport and to the city of Rayjakvic from the hotel. Taxi fare from Air port to the hotel is more than the cost of ticket for the shuttle to Raykjavik, but it takes about 5min to hotel but 1 hour to Rayjakvic. If you are in hurry this is still a good hotel.
