End of a cruise
We disembarked from our cruise ship at 9:30 a.m. and arrived at FCO at 11 a.m. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel doesn't begin to run until 4 p.m. and costs 6 euros - it is not free. So, rather than wait 5 hours for a pickup, we took a taxi to the hotel. Front desk personnel were not friendly and not very helpful. We arrived on a Sunday to discover that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. We were told that there was only one restaurant in the area that was open. We discovered at least 3 open restaurants within the immediate area. The room was small, the day was warm and they had just turned off the air-con.There is one elevator and it is small. Both of us could not fit in the elevator with our luggage. The room was small, particularly the bathroom, with very little counter space and a small shower stall. We had an early flight and had to leave the hotel at 5:30 a.m. The shuttle doesn't start running until 6:30 a.m. - so we had to arrange for a taxi. We also missed the free breakfast.
End of a cruise
This hotel was well priced, clean, close to the airport and provided a reasonably priced shuttle service.
