Bed Bugs in Room 305
DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 305!!!!! It was infested with bed bugs and the staff didn't seem to care one bit about this. Their solution was to change the sheets!!!! The rest of the hotel may be infested now because the porter stripped the sheets that were full of bugs and then proceeded to place them in the hallway. I was bit so many times that bites were still appearing one week after I returned home. Absolutely disgusting!!!! My view of Venice will forever be tainted.On a better note, the hotel's location was good and the restaurant's food was delicious.
Bed Bugs in Room 305
DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 305!!!! This room was infested with bed bugs; we were awakened at 1:30 a.m. from constant scratching only to find that our beds were full of these disgusting creatures who had been feeding on us for hours. The staff was absolutely no help. Their solution was to change the sheets. Give me a break! The porter then proceeded to strip the bed and place the linens that were still full of bugs in the hallway. The whole staff acted like we were crazy and that we had ruined their night of sleeping behind the desk. My view of Venice will forever be tainted.
