Amenities
We are located in a Renaissance building, obtained by Cardinal Giulliano Della Rovere from the ancient Benedictine abbey built in the XI Century. Our decorative two story building is in a beautiful position facing the panoramic view of Colle Bassa and Alta, with the Della Rovere coat of arms on the facade. Between 1998 and 1999 the entire complex was restored to its original splendor to create an elegant hotel. We offer 30 rooms including luxury and junior suites. Furnished in the style of the surroundings and equipped with all modern comforts, silent and elegant, with prestigious colors and furnishings. There is a large park with a pool, a cloister inside the main nucleus of Relais where you can enjoy Aperitif in complete peace.
Start creating your dream trip to Colle di Val d'Elsa.

Heavenly....

We arrived fresh from Florence which is hectic and, on the day we left, terribly crowded at the start of summer and the Memorial Day weekend when a hoard of travelers arrived. We were impressed that even though we arrived 3 hours before checkin time, the staff said that it would be no problem to go ahead and let us into our room. They even showed us different rooms and let us pick our favorite. We chose a cottage that was absolutely adorable - the decor inside was rather rustic with rough hewn beams on the ceiling, stucco walls, and tile floors but all looked new and the bed was made with beautiful white bed linens. The windows had wooden shutters that could be opened during the day. The view was beautiful from every window. On the grounds, everywhere you looked pots, vines, shrubs and trees were all in flower so the air smelled like perfume. Birds were chirping and it was very tranquil - it certainly seemed like what heaven must be like! There is an onsite restaurant that is wonderful, though it only serves dinner (reservations recommended) but breakfast is served every morning and snacks can be ordered in the bar, along with a good selection of wine, beer, and spirits. In the evening they set out plates of finger foods which we enjoyed before dinner with a glass of Prosecco outside. The front desk took a great deal of time to show us places of interest on a map, highlighting the route and teaching us how to find our way with their street signs. They also recommended other restaurants in the area and even made our reservations for us. We would be very happy to stay there again and we highly recommend it.
