Former estate of the aristocratic Pietro Bonci Casuccini- famous agronomist and keen etruscologist- the small hamlet has turned into a luxury hotel in 2007. On the top of a hill -Poggio-- surrounded by vineyards and olive trees- the Resort offers amazing panoramas of the classic Tuscan country side. Poggio alla Sala Resort is composed by six original buildings- The Manors Villa- Scuderie- Limonaia- La Fattoria- I Granai and Podernovo. The Villa is the central unit of the hamlet with the most prestigious accommodation and the two restaurants. All suites located in the buildings nearby have a small private terrace - garden- double entrance and two bathrooms. This accommodation have been devised in order to guarantee our guest with the maximum of privacy and autonomy and are especially recommended for family with children. All our rooms are equipped with LCD TV- Satellite- Internet LAN- Wireless -in all the property including gardens and pools. Each room has a private parking place. Le Grotesque Restaurant- with its magnificent original frescoes- offers a wide range of traditional recipes based on a careful selection of genuine products from the region. Agape Restaurant and Wine Bar- where the creative cuisine meets the most prestigious wines- selected by Poggio alla Sala. The resort has two outdoor swimming pools and a very modern and stylish Beauty Farm. The Hotel can be easily reached by car from the motorway- exit Chiusi Chianciano Terme- just one hour driving from Florence and one and a half from Rome.
