Hotel Parco dei Principi is a jewel of the enchanting Sorrentine coast set on a cliff overlooking the magnificent Gulf of Naples. Created as a cutting-edge design resort by the Italian architect and designer Gio Ponti in 1962 - it is a perfect blend of sixties modernist style and the dramatic natural surroundings. The blue of the sky and the sea are echoed in the blue and white tones seen throughout the hotel - in the beautiful majolica floors - the fabrics - the walls - the glasses and the tableware. The hotel retains all its original fittings and decor - and was renovated recently by the Neapolitan architect Fabrizio Mautone. All 96 rooms are ensuite and air-conditioned and equipped with direct dial telephone - minibar and colour TV. Parco dei Principi is a perfect place to relax and pamper yourself. It has a seawater pool set in the extensive private botanic park and surrounded by exotic plants ? a sheltered private beach accessible by lift directly from the rooms - a private boat harbour - a fully equipped health centre offering a variety of diets and treatments and a fitness centre. The main restaurant - Gio Ponti - is renowned for its international cuisine served in an elegant and stylish dining room and La Spiaggia Restaurant serves local seafood specialties and international cuisine. Guests will enjoy relaxing in the 2 American bars ? the poolside bar serving light snacks and beverages - and the atmospheric spacious lounge inside the hotel. All this ensures that a stay at Parco dei Principi is a truly memorable experience. For those coming on business - the conference centre has 8 meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 350 delegates.
