Amenities
This government-rated three-star hotel contains one of the most appealing collections of decorative objects along the Taormina coastline. This includes bas-reliefs, sculptures, wrought-iron balustrades, gilded baroque door frames, and hand-painted tilework tastefully assembled into a complete whole. The overall effect is that of a whimsical private villa that happens to rent out rooms. Built in the 1970s atop a jagged strip of eroded lava rocks, it has compensated for its lack of sandy beach with a terraced pool and masses of potted flowers. Its rock-studded beach is private. Rooms are cozy and clean; many contain balconies or loggias. Half of the units have air-conditioning. About half of the bathrooms contain showers, while the rest have tubs. Dining: Typical sicilian breakfast, If you booked Halfboard, you can choose between 2 menues. Recreation: One outdoor seawaterpool with a lot of sun umbrellas and sunloungers.Bath towels are available.
