Middle of Nowhere
This hotel is not near anything. It is walking distance from the train station or Giardini Naxos (fishing village down the hill), but that is about all. To get to the city center or the beautiful beaches in Taormina it will cost * Euro (*) for a cab ride each way. If you leave the hotel in the morning and return to freshen up, then go out to dinner, make sure to plan for another */day for the 4 cab rides. The dining room is for breakfast buffet only. There was no restaurant. The hotel is clean and the staff is generally pleasant, but that is the minimum expected from a 4 star hotel. Stay at the other end of Taormina (near the beach and gondola) or near the city center.
