Excellent Hotel
Very nice property. Staff excellent, very clean with typical decor. Great location.. make use of the restaurants and shopping locally. Close to Seoul Metro Gangnam Station, easy to use , just grab a map.
Excellent Hotel
The bed was rock hard, the towels were old and hard, TV old, one set of linens had a hole in it. After we complained we were upgraded to a better room and the hotel put a mattress topper on the bed.
We stayed in the parlor suite on the club level. The rooms were quite nice and the club offered a great selection of food and drink. It was winter and the room was too warm for my taste. The hotel sent up a portable air conditioner which was perfect. The swimming pool and exercise facility is first rate. Room service and in house restaurants were outstanding. Don't let the price fool you. You get what you pay for at the Ritz.
The staff of the hotel are helpful and speak fluent English. The room is great. Thougn it is not close to the subway station that may be a little bit inconvinent for self-travaller, the surrounding environment is quiet and safe for single traveller.
There are many good choices in Seoul, but there is only one great luxury choice in Seoul. The Ritz Carlton currently under a major renovation; which is transparent to currents guests is a property without equal in Seoul. It is in the quiet suburb of Gangnam, and has that luxury service that many crave. Unlike the cold but proper service of business class properties the Ritz combines service of ""Ladies and gentlemen serving Ladies and gentlemen"" with the amenties of a world class property. The staff and the GM here are top notch.
