Wonderful Suites!

 by  anonymous  on  2008-05-24

This was a great hotel/suite to stay in especially for a small family. The hotel had a separate bedroom at one end and a dining and family room at the other end. For those with small children who go to bed early the adults can stay up and watch TV without bothering the children. A few pieces of advice....food on the island is ridiculously expensive. Dont plan on spending less than 100 per dinner for 3. RENT A CAR!! Dont buy the extra insurance, but definitely rent a car. Taxis are extremely expensive. Room service at this hotel only costs 2.25 more than if you ate at the restaurant. This hotel was very nice.

The hotel is small but absolutely wonderful! Booked the trip when it was a Hyatt and they had no problems with my reservation during the transition. The staff was great and the rooms clean and large! and all have quite a view!! two amazing restaurants on site and great staff. Best part for me was that each pool/beach chair had its own umbrella--perfect for those who do not tan! Would certainly stay again!

Hyatt

We had the Hyatt nearly to ourselves for a long weekend in June. The service was great, the food delicious (but yes, expensive), the beach fantastic. We were most surprised however by how comfortable our bed at the Hyatt was and how nice a room we had. Spacious with a great view of the pool and ocean. We would definitely go back.

The Hyatt was recommended to me by coworker...the Hyatt was a great experience. Clean nicely decorated rooms, attentive staff. The location couldn't be nicer- Seven Mile Beach. Great place to relax. Facilities on the spot for water sports also!

Great Hotel!! Can't wait to go back! Room was immaculate and promptly cleaned everyday. Pool and beach were well kept. Hotel staff was great with every request ie. daily trip planning, call for reservations, calling airport. All water sports (scuba, snorkel, wave runner, kayak, etc.) on site very convienent. Renting car makes everything easier(more freedom to move about the island), faster, and cheaper. Driving on left isn't as hard as you think.

They Hyatt in Grand Cayman is a great place. Not very large since they closed the part affected by the hurricane - which is a good thing. Beach was good. Staff was very good (maid service several times a day). The lounge chairs with the built in shade (removable if you want) were a great addition. Great place to spend a vacation.
