A member of the prestigious Small Chic Hotels group, this romantic hideaway is set amidst 600 acres lush tropical jungle. The resort features two beaches, spectacular views of the ocean, and the famous twin Pitozn peaks. A pristine coral reef is just a short swim from the private beach. The resort is an ideal destination for romantics, honeymooners, and all those who wish to get away from it all. The propertys public and private areas feature original artwork by local and international artists. There is a first class scuba operation, as well as mountain bike center with 10 miles of exclusive trails, water sports, and island excursions. It also offers a full service spa, two restaurants and bars, two boutiques, and an art gallery. The property features two dining venues. The hillside Pitons Restaurant has a view of the peaks, as the name suggests, and serves breakfast and a five-course dinner with a daily changing menu. Trou au Diable on the beach offers lunch and twice weekly dinner buffets. The hotels fresh produce and herbs are cultivated at their nearby plantation. The on-site spa, Kai Belte, which means House of Beauty, offers a range of treatments at the spa or in the privacy of guests rooms. All 49 rooms (bungalows) are uniquely designed and decorated with original art. To ensure the utmost in privacy, the rooms do not have telephones, TVs, or radios. It is also great for the active traveler. Other hotel amenities include fridges, electric tea/coffee makers, safes, and wall mounted hairdryers. Rooms are decorated with madras prints, traditional bright plaid island fabrics.

Fantastic romantic hideaway
The best thing about the Anse Chastenet is the small, intimate size and the activities that are located on-site. They have a coral reef that you can snorkel by walking of the beach, fun mountain biking trails that you can also hike to see great views. They also have their own sail boat and the best scuba center on the island. Use of the beach is controled to a few hotels, and those staying at the Anse Chastenet have exclusive use of the nice beach palapas. The beach is never crowded and very clean. Their spa services were fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated but not fancy - the view is what makes it luxurious. Every night has a different local music group playing in the bar for a taste of culture with your night cap. This is not the place to party till 3am. The Anse Chastenet is the answer for anyone looking for the ultimate Caribbean get away with the right mix of everything and nothing to do. I would absolutely love to go again.
