Nice...but hot rooms
Beautiful location...but the the room thermostat did not go below 79 degrees.Friends' rooms hot also. The disco and Bellagio restaurant were also hot. There were also ants in the room. Housekeeping sprayed, left us a can of insect spray in the room. Food was just OK. Drinks were good, thanks to Ted! Staff was nice and we had a great driver Edmond who showed us the entire island and several wonderful tourist attractions. There was a generous welcome package for kids who went to the kids club. I would choose something a little more upscale next time.
Nice...but hot rooms
PROS: Fabulous staff; great spa services, clean rooms, cable TV, close to airport, lots of activities, big water slide for kids and separate (quiet) adult-only pool area. Food ranged from so-so to pretty good depending on the night. Staff went out of their way to give good service and remember your name! CONS: Beach was pretty but LOTS of seaweed; had to step over 3ft wide area of it to swim. Only cleaned up once during the week.

The booked us double beds on our honeymoon. The food was terrible! We lost water for 2 days, a/c for 2 days, power for 1 day (all different days). It took 2.5 hours to eat due to service at the them resteraunt. Eat outside the resort as the buffet was terrible too. 90% of the scheduled activities were cancelled. The resort ran out of banannas for 3 days! The chief export of the island is banannas!! What a disaster! This resort has so much potential, but at this time is only a dissapointment. We wasted our honeymoon at Coconut Bay Resort.
I was very impressed with this resort. Every single staff member was so nice, and very helpful. The entertainment crew is the best ever. I wouldn't rate this resort at only a three.....
The drinks are good and strong considering that they are free. The beach had a lot of seaweed but cleared up for a couple of days and was warm and as clear as any! The food is a little strange but will get the job done, although you must get a taxi and go to "Debbies" for the best food on the island. The views are breathtaking and the people are priceless. No this resort is not the best, but for people like us who would have not been able to go to St. Lucia without a resort that isn't mega expensive it gets the job done, we loved it and will def go back!
Although the staff was courteous and friendly, they were not always understanding and helpful. The food at the Bellagio was absolutely awful. Between myself and my sister we killed over 31 ants on our table. The Coconut Walk food was plentiful and awful, too plus hot food was always cold and cold food was always warm. We never ate at the Silk restaurant because none of the reviews from fellow customers were promising. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
